The PIPE UP Project is a nonprofit initiative committed to fostering positive change in young people through the transformative power of improv.
Our workshops feature engaging and lighthearted improv games that enhance valuable skills such as communication, creativity, and confidence, ultimately contributing to improved mental well-being.
We combine improv with the principles of positive psychology to foster personal growth. When individuals embrace 'Yes, and…' they cultivate resilience, positive relationships, and mindfulness.
Join us, PIPE UP, and PROJECT your voice! Let improv become the catalyst for positive change and lasting connections.

WHY IMPROV?
Improv, or improvisational theatre, is a form of live performance where participants create scenes and dialogue spontaneously without pre-planned scripts. This art form emphasizes adaptability, quick thinking, and collaboration, making it an excellent tool for developing interpersonal skills in young people.
Engaging in improv allows kids to practice expressing themselves clearly and confidently, while also learning to listen and respond effectively to others. The dynamic and interactive nature of improv helps children build empathy and understanding, as they must constantly adapt to the ideas and emotions of their scene partners. These experiences can significantly enhance a child's ability to navigate social situations, work collaboratively in teams, and develop meaningful relationships.
